  • Maximising bookings, sales, margin and profit in line with budgets
  • Ensuring customer orders are made accurately and efficiently
  • Following all systems and procedures correctly, effectively and consistently
  • Actively keeping track of sales performance against target and seeking support and feedback when required
  • Searching out opportunities for making new sales
  • Successfully achieving activity targets
  • Using your persuasive skills and influence to move sales forward
  • ┬áMust be able to work weekends and bank holidays

Apprentice Website Administrator

About Abitare

We are a family run furniture business who specialise in luxury furniture for every room in the house. We have a 30,000 square ft store based in the heart of Wigan and we are looking to grow our web team who are based in the town centre store.

About the Role

The right candidate will be mentored by our current Website Trading Manager and trained in all areas of the website from product uploading to social media and email marketing. The position would involve using WordPress, Microsoft Excel and Photoshop to a basic level. Data entry experience and an analytical brain would be advantageous but is not essential as all training will be given.

Weekly tasks would include:

  • Web stock management and data entry
  • Uploading products to the website
  • Social media management
  • Weekly performance reports
  • Competitor analysis
  • Processing customer orders
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Reception duties when required

The right candidate must be:

  • Confident enough to complete tasks on your own
  • Work well under pressure and with limited time constraints
  • Enjoy learning new skills in a small, busy environment

This is an exciting role for someone to join the team and develop skills in a rapidly growing sector of the business.

No experience is necessary as all training will be giving however a knowledge of Microsoft excel would be advantageous.
